Standard slots have a fixed number of paylines — 5, 10, or 25. With the Megaways mechanic, reel height changes on every spin, which means the number of possible ways to win is different each time.

Tips from Experienced Hi Baze Players
The biggest wins in this game come from the Free Spins round. Be patient in the base game and wait for the Scatters to land.
In high-volatility games, stretch your spins by betting smaller. You may not hit big right away, but you'll keep your balance alive longer.
If your budget allows, use the Bonus Buy to jump straight into Free Spins. The RTP is higher in the bonus round.
Enable Auto-Spin for longer sessions. Make sure the automatic stop-loss limit is set so the game pauses when you hit your loss threshold.
In ancient Chinese mythology, the Qilin is a creature whose appearance heralds great fortune — the birth of a legendary figure, the dawn of a peaceful reign. Inspired by that mythical beast, Ways of the Qilin arrives on Hi Baze carrying high expectations, and it's living up to every one of them, quickly becoming a favorite among Bangladeshi players.
The word Megaways can sound intimidating at first, but once you understand how it works, the game actually feels more intuitive. In a standard slot, you match symbols across a fixed set of 5 or 10 paylines. Megaways throws out that rulebook — matching symbols anywhere side by side on the reels counts as a win. The result is a dramatically higher number of winning combinations on every spin.
The Dragon Pearl Wild symbol can substitute for any regular symbol. In Way of the Kilin, the Kilin symbol itself can also act as an expanding wild under certain conditions. When it expands across an entire reel column, it can form multiple winning combinations in a single spin — combined with the Megaways mechanic, the results can be staggering.
If you're a regular Mahjong Ways player on Hi Baze, Ways of the Qilin is a natural next step. Both feature cascade mechanics and growing multipliers in the free spins round — but the Qilin's Megaways system gives it a feel that's entirely its own.
Among players who dig deep into this game, there's one consistent takeaway — getting into the Free Spins round is where big wins really happen. Landing 4 scatters unlocks 15 Free Spins, and a multiplier counter climbs with every cascade win. Chain 10 cascades and finish with a Kirin symbol on that final win, and walking away with thousands of times your total bet is not out of the question.
Hi Baze also features a retrigger system — land scatters during Free Spins and you'll add 5 more bonus spins to the clock. In longer Free Spins sessions, the multiplier has room to climb to impressive heights.
Hi Baze doesn't just offer the game — it comes with exclusive perks too. Every Thursday brings Free Spins offers specifically for Ways of the Kirin. The Daily Rewards page occasionally features dedicated Kirin bonuses, and VIP players can enjoy special discounts on the Bonus Buy.
Keep in mind: Way of the Kilin is a high-volatility game. Big wins are possible, but they may take time. Practice responsible gaming at Hi Baze — always play within a set budget.
